Matisse Ventures strengthens its construction software portfolio with the acquisition of SOC Informatique
Matisse Ventures, a French company specializing in acquiring and developing vertical market software for the building sector, announces the acquisition of SOC Informatique, an Alsace-based software company recognized for its solutions for construction professionals.
Founded in 1980 by Dominique Lotz, SOC Informatique has established itself as a major player in software for specifications, quantity take-off and BIM estimating. Since 2012, under the leadership of Stéphane Lotz, the company has entered a new phase of growth, strengthening its market position and expanding its product range. Its flagship software, DeviSOC, is a complete solution for writing technical specifications (CCTP) and priced bills of quantities (DPGF), as well as for project management. The company also offers JustBIM, an innovative tool for cost estimating and quantity take-off from 2D plans and 3D models, making it easier to bring BIM processes into construction projects.
Based in Lingolsheim, near Strasbourg, SOC Informatique serves a diverse base of more than 800 companies in the sector, including general contractors, architects, engineering firms, cost consultants, builders and property developers.
“ The acquisition of SOC Informatique is fully in line with our ambition to build a leading group in construction software. Stéphane Lotz and the SOC team have built a leader, thanks to deep industry expertise, recognized technical excellence and a constant commitment to their customers. We are delighted to welcome this passionate and ambitious team to Matisse Ventures. Together, we will pursue SOC's mission of supporting construction professionals for the long term with ever more innovative and impactful solutions. ”
“ This acquisition marks a new chapter for both SOC Informatique and me. After more than ten years leading the company, I am proud to hand over to Matisse Ventures, whose vision and commitment to construction software will help SOC accelerate its growth and innovation. ”
SOC Informatique will continue to operate independently, with the mission of further developing its flagship products while benefiting from the strategic support of Matisse Ventures.
